The story so far …
The Connecting Ireland initiative evolved from the immediate need to assist Irish companies operating in Australia and New Zealand to maximise the relative wealth of business opportunities that currently exist across this prosperous, Irish-friendly region. For more than two centuries, the links between our countries have been extremely strong: almost a third of Australians and 20% of New Zealanders can trace their heritage back to Ireland.
The Connecting Ireland website is the direct result of extensive research conducted with the Australian and New Zealand business community via a series of surveys to determine how business professionals would like to engage with Irish companies and learn more about the world-class Irish products and services available in their markets.
Thanks to this feedback, the Connecting Ireland website allows interested parties to register their details with Enterprise Ireland, showcases inspiring success stories and includes profiles of many of Ireland’s leading companies currently operating in the region.
Enterprise Ireland continues to actively engage with the local business community and welcomes additional feedback and ways to further improve Irish/Australian and Irish/New Zealand trade relations.
