Geo Guides have created a smartphone application that uses GPS + Compass for point and click access to tourist information. Through their patented technology, GeoGuides’ Intrepid Explorer Platform allows users to point their devices at objects or places in the real world in order to access information about them.
Geo Guides partnered with Dublin Tourism to create the Visit Dublin Smartphone application. Intrepid Explorer creates a hyperlink between a place on earth and content about that place. Content is stored solely in the Enterprise’s own authenticated and regulated databases. Incorporated into core tourism relationship management offering including itinerary planning, augmented reality, social media updates, analytics, security updates, targeted marketing etc.
